IDAC-Alpha is a biokinetic, user friendly software with a graphical interface, developed to perform real-istic alpha dosimetry calculations for normal organs and tissues. The software includes separate transfer of the various progenies. Including the biokinetics of the progenies will give improved absorbed dose estimates and an improved prediction of the normal tissue radiotoxicity. The software performs dosimetry for the molecular radiotherapy nucliedes 225Ac, 211At 212Bi, 213Bi, 212Pb, 223Ra, 224Ra, 149Tb and 227Th, and including the behaviour and biokinetic transfer of daughter products.
