IDAC-Dose has since 1987 been used by the ICRP to estimate effective dose and absorbed doses to patients from radiopharmaceuticals. It is a free and user friendly computer software, which is easy to install and to calculate doses.

IDAC-Alpha is a biokinetic, user friendly software with a graphical interface, developed to perform real-istic alpha dosimetry calculations for normal organs and tissues. The software includes separate transfer of the various progenies. Including the biokinetics of the progenies will give improved absorbed dose estimates and an improved prediction of the normal tissue radiotoxicity. The software performs dosimetry for the molecular radiotherapy nucliedes 225Ac, 211At 212Bi, 213Bi, 212Pb, 223Ra, 224Ra, 149Tb and 227Th, and including the behaviour and biokinetic transfer of daughter products.
